Drama in Schools: The Role of the ‘Expert Colleague’
This FREE event will focus on the role of the ‘Expert Colleague’ in the training of drama teachers.

About this event
The day will focus on the role of the ‘Expert Colleague’ in the training of drama teachers. It will enable trainee and early career teachers from a range of contexts to meet together to share good practice and look to the future implications for drama in schools:
- How best to navigate the challenges of current practice?
- How do mentors understand the role of the ‘expert colleague’?
- What do trainees and ECTs value about this relationship? What impedes their progress?
- Is there a need to reform the training process?
- What implications does the current system have for the future of drama in schools?
- What is the role of professional subject associations ?
