It is with profound sorrow that the National Drama Executive shares the news of the passing of our cherished colleague and friend, Vivienne Lafferty.
Vivienne was not only ND’s longest-serving officer and our dedicated Newsletter editor, but also a founding member our very first. Her involvement from the earliest steering committee meetings helped shape National Drama into what it is today.
Many of you will know Vivienne through her generous spirit, encouraging words, and tireless enthusiasm. Her presence was a constant at conferences, workshops, and meetings both nationally and internationally. Her optimism was infectious, and her dedication unparalleled.
Vivienne was at the heart of National Drama for 35 years. She is truly irreplaceable.
We will share a fuller tribute in due course, but for now, we send our love and deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.
