ND SEND Workshop
For teachers of SEND students across all key stages
Led by:
Dr Gill Brigg and Make/Sense Theatre.
Are you interested in using Drama with your learners?
Come along and be inspired.
This one-day workshop will explore teaching through story using both sensory and emotional engagement for pupils with PMLD. It will also explore the use of Drama with MLD/ASD/SEMH young people to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, develop confidence and trust, and foster good relationships with peers and adults. There will be a range of activities throughout the day including workshops, Q and A, along with some theoretical underpinning.
Teachers will be given a set of adaptable lesson plans to take away and use in school. This event is relevant to all teachers working in specialist SEND settings, regardless of previous Drama experience, and across all phases, including post-16.
