Drama Inspires Bursary: Connect, Inspire and Raise Awareness

How would you use £500 to inspire?

  • Do you intend to establish an inspirational drama project, perhaps linking your school with a local community group?
  • Would you like to work across your school on a project that extends knowledge of drama?
  • Would you like to liaise with a primary school to develop materials for transition?
  • Would it benefit your students if they had the opportunity to work with the participation department of your local theatre?

These are just possibilities and National Drama welcomes suggestions for any new projects that will establish, extend or enhance knowledge and understanding of drama and theatre education.

This possibility is open to any of our members: undergraduates, early careers teachers, MA or PhD students, primary teachers who wish to use drama across the curriculum, secondary teachers who want to extend their students’ examination experiences, teachers who wish to establish a cross-curricular project, a Youth Theatre initiative or a community practitioner with an interest in theatre, drama or social justice. This could be an exciting opportunity for all of us.
