Practical Writing Exercises to inspire your drama students – in association with National Drama
Writer Leo Skilbeck and poet Keith Jarrett will lead you through two practical writing exercises which you are able to share with your students. Rob Watt, Artistic Director of Theatre Centre, will then explore how to expand these exercises into programmes of work. Rob will also introduce various creative projects which Theatre Centre have produced which can be used in the classroom.
Theatre Centre brings world-class theatre straight into the heart of schools. Our productions present big ideas and difficult questions that can help young audiences make sense of a complex and changing world. We use the power of stories, writing and performance to support students and teachers in their learning across a range of subjects to build confidence and aspirations.
