Drama is a bi-annual magazine, ISSN 0967-4454. It is rooted in professional practice and contains a variety of interesting features and articles for teachers and drama and theatre educators in many contexts. The magazine encourages contributors from all phases of education and strives for regional and cultural diversity. Drama is a hard copy, print publication and a typical issue will contain a number of articles, sometimes with a particular focus. These articles tend to be based on practical teaching experiences and projects. They will often include classroom materials and dissemination of work completed. Interviews with leading practitioners and book reviews also feature. Articles submitted to Drama are not subject to fully independent, blind peer refereeing as submissions are to Drama Research, but they are peer-assessed by the full editorial team before acceptance.
The deadline for the receipt of finished articles for the January issue is 31st October. The submission deadline for the July issue is 30th April .
Please present your article to us in electronic format in MSWord (.docx) file, (.doc) file, or (.txt) file. It should be single-spaced and spell-checked. Word limit is 4000 words.
Please follow the Harvard System of Referencing for all contributions. Visit the Drama Research Contributor Information for details.
