You just missed 'Drama Spa: National Drama's Residential Two Day Conference'  to go to the Conference page.
National Drama’s Conference, Drama Spa, took place on Friday 13th April and Saturday 14th April 2018 at Homerton College, Cambridge.
Workshops included The Stanislavski Experience, a Brecht Workshop and Wendy Frost on Shakespeare.
The two days were designed to revitalise and restore the most jaded Drama teachers - and they did! More information at Conference.

Welcome to National Drama’s CPD Website!

putting drama at the heart of learning

On here you can find out about all the Conferences and Events that National Drama is organising for your Continuing Professional Development.

National Drama, the UK’s leading professional association for drama teachers and theatre educators, is dedicated to ensuring that all children and young people have the opportunity to learn about and through drama.

Learning through drama is a natural human process – our brains are ‘wired’ for it. We recognise it as a powerful pedagogy and a creative process that provides a compelling means of exploration, expression and making meaning. Through it we learn what it is to be a human being.

To help them learn in this way, teachers need to be learning themselves, practically and theoretically – and this is why National Drama arranges high quality Drama and Theatre Conferences and Events – which also turn to to be a lot of fun too!

The sidebars show what we have arranged for you – why not join us on one of our events?
